FRAMEWORK

The iSteelGrid project intends to develop a structural solution of a modular metallic floor to overcome large spans, with integrated technical infrastructure, with preassembled, configurable and quick-installation components.

Versatile and quick modular assembly system, dispensing with the use of the structural concrete floor sheet. The modules will be able to acquire different lengths, with or without bias, adapting to different architectural configurations, not being limited, as in current modular systems, to standardized orthogonal configurations. In order to limit the value of deformations/sags, resulting from the flexibility of the structure, they will be designed and applied, during manufacture, against sags and/or structural pre-stress (by pre-tension, organic pre-stress or stress-skin ).

The slab modules can be equipped, from the outset and in the factory, with elements that guarantee their fire protection and the use of materials that provide insulation to air and percussion sounds, and thermal insulation of the slab.

It has a quality management system certified by APCER and more than 300 tests accredited by IPAC. It is a Notified Body (System 3) and a Technical Assessment Body, within the scope of CE marking. It is CIT - Centro Interface and is qualified to provide services within the scope of the Vouchers.
